The DoubleClit Here all started when I watched my friend play a computer game. He hunched over his laptop, body rigid with tension, eyes transfixed on the screen. And his finger flicking and swirling around on the trackpad… My imagination took the scene to the next level. That was the beginning!
What are some of the messages we are being given about vaginas?
The vagina needs way more positive press. Most mainstream “sexy” images feature women with hairless, porn-star bodies. Womens’ magazines runs stories about vagina bleaching and waxing, and labiaplasty surgeries. DoubleClit Here seeks to change that message. DoubleClit Here recognizes that the vagina/vulva, in all it’s variety, is an important, beautiful body part that is normal at any size and shape.
How did you pick/recruit models?
The models for DoubleClit Here are my friends. They are natural and proud of their bodies, and thrilled to be part of the project.
What are your goals for the fundraising campaign?
Our fundraising goal is $4,500 and the campaign ends on December 30, 2013. Help us spread the DoubleClit Here movement today by donating to the cause and sharing our message!
Do you hope to offer more variety of vulva in the future?
Yes! We’re just starting out with two designs now, but there will be more vulvas in the future! Our hope is to represent as many different shapes, sizes, and colors as possible. And we’re developing a plan to offer custom vagina trackpads.
