Lynsey makes some excellent points about our viewership of porn in the wake of the recent HIV outbreak in the porn work.
- It is going to be an extremely difficult thing for the government to regulate across any country. Porn is too easily and ubiquitously created and distributed now. And even if there was such a major crackdown of major and minor players, production can easily move to anywhere else in the world.
- If we, as caring people, want to protect performers, we need to purchase porn that is ethically and responsibly produced. Will that require payment? Yes. Quality without compromise will cost. But this is worth it.
