So, I started the #TOsexbloggers as a way to meet the strokers behind the keys.
The first night seemed a good success with approximately 10 people out.
The two subsequent editions…not so much. One person joined me each time.
I’m not all crabby pants about this. The event is designed to be casual, show-up-if-you-choose. Sometimes events work, sometimes they don’t. I can see that this isn’t taking off and with what it involves for me, I’m not inclined to continue.
But here’s the rub. Last month I spent the evening with @MissHC and we had a good talk about the sexual community in Toronto. This month, last night, I chatted with Jason Armstrong for a few hours about sex blogs, fetish, publishing and all kinds of other things. It was great!
Knowing my somewhat hermitty ways, I’m not sure these chats would have ever happened in person had it not been for arranging this event. And that would be a huge loss for me.
So, now I’m left to wonder: do I continue this? If it is event just one person, history shows it is worth it.
