I just recently got into comics/graphic novels/webcomics. Well, I’ve been reading one, Questionable Content for a number of years, but I’ve been reading some staples of the graphic novel genre lately and I’ve been wondering about erotic content. Particularly work I can find on the web.Francis Foster did a wonderful talk on erotica in graphic form at a recent Toronto Erotica Writers and Readers Meetup, and I look forward to tracking down those books.But then I found this great piece from Erika at xoxoamore.com on some erotica webcomics!Yay!Erotica Webcomics 101

Tightrope Book’s new online mag featuring “Erotica Fatigue”

Impressive Toronto publisher Tightrope Books now publishes an online magazine, The Acrobat. Check out the first issue, featuring a nifty essay “Erotica Fatigue” by Myna Wallin.Though I am a bit of an apologist for the current wave of popular erotica, Myna does make some great points. Cliterature—Jan 18 & 19!

There is a fantastic event, the 9th annual Cliterature, taking place this coming weekend in the Kitchener/Waterloo area that celebrates women’s sexuality by featuring erotic readings, photography, film, dance and more.  Dorianne interviewed the organizer, Shelley Secrett on Sex City last night (listen here) and it sounds like a brilliant event. Check it out!
