UK and Euro Wand Massagers Send Vibrations Across Europe!

It seems hard to imagine that something so popular and universally loved was not available to everyone. Well, not just hard to imagine but a damn shame. Think of all the people looking for fun!

Fortunately, the ever popular Hitachi Magic Wand is now expanding across Europe with new focus on Germany, Spain, France and the UK!

Previously, the Hitachi has only been available in North America because it was designed with 120v voltage. Now it is available with 100v-240v voltage and a European plug. Personally speaking, I have no idea why there are different electricity systems across the world and won’t begin to argue their merits. However, I do know that if you’re travelling around, having a great time and decide to relax in your hotel with a little personal (or joined) vibration action, it would be wholly disappointing to, literally, not be able to get turned on.

But the new Euro Wand is really about bringing a premier sexual experience to a new and hot market. The Euro Wand features all of the same qualities of the original, including:

  • vibrations: 5000 to 8000 RPM
  • 100% Electric operation | No batteries needed
  • Removable & washable silicone head
  • Discreet appearance (doesn’t look like sex toy or dildo)

Wand massagers are a fantastic choice for those who prefer external stimulation, particularly clitoral sensations. According to the site, 97% of women prefer this type of sexytime fun. Euro Wands can be enjoyed individually for intense and enjoyable masturbation fun, or with a partner to increase the pleasures of penetration. They are also wonderfully diverse toys, great for use in many different positions and carnal configurations. The different speed settings allow you to start of slow and easy and then rev things up when it gets hot and heavy. If you are interested in some internal vibration, there are various attachments available that slip on to the head of the Euro Wand that can reach in and stimulate the G-Spot for an entirely different and awesome experience.

Of course, don’t forget that they are also amazing full-body massagers! There is nothing better at the end of a hard day than coming home and letting a wand massager ease all of your sore and aching muscles. Because of its length, you can easily reach around to soothe sore back muscles. And if you have someone at home who can do it for you, even better!

With an expansion across a very diverse area, the company understood it best to appeal to some specific markets directly with the dedicated sites in French, Germany, Spanish and German. When people go shopping for their pleasure products, they want to feel comfortable and communicate easily. With language-specific sites, the ordering process is that much easier. A friendly live chat will also help you along with the process. Processing and shipping are a piece of cake on all of the new sites with different payment options and assured delivery discretion.

Get ready Europe, it is time to say Bonjour, Guten Tag, Hello and Hola to the Euro Wand!

Earth Day Feature Products: Blossom Organics

Earth Day is a fantastic time to get in touch with your body—while you’re touching your body!

The fine folks at Ohhh Canada turned me on to a couple great products from Blossom Organics (and provided me samples) and I am hooked on their great feel and awesome ingredients.

The Natural Moisturizing Lubricant is a great addition to your toy box. Developed by a woman, it is just as it says: natural. No chemical scents or feel. Free of glycerin, alcohol and parabens, it is the lube that will aid any situation. It is a bit on the thick side, which makes it nice for anal play and is pH balanced for a woman.

The Warm Sensation Massage Oil is a new favourite in our house. Again, it too is free of the nasties and is made from pure organic ingredients. Using and receiving massages with this oil is a dream. It feel great on the skin as your partner moves their hands across you. And if you’re doing the massaging, you can glide and slide with great ease and comfort.

Check out Blossom Organics for more great products that will make your body and soul super sexy!

Sex Ed and Storytelling on this week’s Sex City!

It was a pleasure to welcome some fantastic individuals to Sex City this week! I had great talks with Sunny Megatron about her wonderful sex ed show Sex with Sunny Megatron. Brian Finch told us about how storytelling has greatly helped his work as an HIV advocate and how he is launching Dare! Stories We Thought We’d Never Tell. Finally, Tim Bartsch shared the story behind the creation of his story Southern Time.

Sex Stuff: 50 Shades! The Musical—The Original Parody

I’m not afraid to admit that I don’t think 50 Shades of Grey is horrible. I’m not going to say it is fantastic, but I think the book is a watershed item in culture, it had a definite (predominantly positive) effect on growing sexual understanding and awareness and was (in spots) fairly hot.

Of course, when something is popular or controversial—or both!—inevitable copycats come along. Personally speaking, the copycat I like best isn’t really a copycat at all. Instead, I love parodies! Despite the fact that most parodies are shallow and limited, I still love finding comedic, witty, clever retellings of “classic” stories.

So after listening to my colleague Bryen’s interview with Emily Doreezas, Writer/Producer/Touring Director of 50 Shades! The Musical—The Original Parody on Sex City, I set out to see the show because it sounds funny and slick.

And it certainly is!

Because so many parodies really are lacking, I didn’t have a lot of hope. I hate to admit it, but this is how I felt. 50 Shades of Grey is an almost too easy prey for humour. The books have been skewered beyond repair, so I was curious what new laughs this production would bring to table.

Turns out, they bring lots. Plenty of clever lines, creative and effective casting, brilliant songs and a great use of minimal staging. I laughed out loud numerous times throughout and sometimes that was just at the voiceover instructing us about intermission. And that is key. The production goes to great lengths to ensure the audience is fully engaged and pulled into the performance. There are a number of instances of characters directly interacting with the audience. At one point some of the audience get up close and very personal with an intimate moment between two of the characters. And every time the audience engaged us, we ate it up.

Not only do the performers engage with the audience, they engage the originating text to a tee. The good and the bad. There are many references, within the storyline, back to the book with a sly wink and smile. Most are entirely overt, but I also picked up on some subtle, yet hilarious, references. Maybe I’ve spent too much time reading about these books!

One (odd) critique I have of the show: For some reason, in two instances, the writers seem to think that fisting only happens to asses. Certainly, it can be part of ass play, but I’m sure that fisting is more often done to a vagina. Just a minor thing.

I had a fantastic time checking out the production of 50 Shades! The Musical—The Original Parody. We laughed a lot and were consistently surprised by the quality of the writing. Don’t be afraid to get roped into…coming!

Sex Stuff: Gaymer

Gaymer by Cameron D. James

I have to admit, I have a bit of a fascination with nerd culture. Gaymers, cons, rpgs, larpers…the whole nerd world seems, to me, to be a fantastic (no pun intended) culture of fun and creativity. I’m not saying that my sex nerd world is any less fun, but I do live vicariously through some friends who are really into geekdom.

However, with Cameron D. James‘ super hot short story Gaymer, I don’t have to live vicariously…as much. Well, at least the video game part, I have got that part down. The cocksucking and fucking…I need to work on that.

Really though, who knew that a little plumber video game action, what with all it’s pipes and going into holes could possibly lead to a smokin’ hot good time? With this simple trope, James has crafted an excellent short, erotic fiction. There is tension, a bit of suspense, an entirely plausible backstory and set-up and, I’ll say it again, an amazing sexual encounter between Carter and Zack.

Beyond the delicious sex, what I find very effective in Gaymer is the realism. Who hasn’t been on a couch with someone, wondering “will we, can we?” Add the element of “Is he?” in there and James has built the kind of tension that is necessary in video games. It gets your adrenaline flowing, it gets you even more excited. The unknown that lies ahead can be frustrating and your little man might just get flattened…or it might lead you to growing big and levelling up.

Gaymer seriously levels up…in the sexiest way possible. Great story!

Sex Stuff: Northbound Leather’s iKink

Northbound Leather’s iKink

In all of the year’s I have lived in (or near) Toronto, one event had always eluded me. Despite not being deeply in the fetish scene, I have attended many of the various fetish events, and had a lot of fun (most of the time). However, I had never had the pleasure of attending Northbound Leather‘s annual fashion show and fetish extravaganza.

Until this past Saturday, that is. And let me definitively state that it  was pure pleasure!
Northbound is a Toronto kink institution and their parties are legendary. Fortunately, the sex stars aligned and we greatly enjoyed a fantastic fetish fashion show and a fun dance party—the world’s largest, in fact!

The show was the centrepiece. Featuring the hot designs of Cheryl Kocot, the theme of the runway sexiness was how we hook up online. A delightful array of models came out in brilliant new creations. Funny thing is, as hot as the show was, I had a serious crush on the performer who introduced each segment of the show via recorded, robotic vignettes…

But I digress!

As the show went on, the fashion’s got dirtier—and so did the performers. And the audience was entranced. I highly recommend searching out images to check out the steaming clothing. You just might enjoy the models too. {wink!}

The production of the fashion show was even better than I had hoped. The vignettes were funny and sexy and very cool. The stories the models told were so very seductive. Many kudos to the team that put it together.

After the show, the stage was removed and serious dancing in serious outfits began. The crowd was certainly out to impress—some of the feitsh gear on display was just fanastic! Leather was the order of the night, but latex, rubber, sports gear, chainmaille and much more were certainly, sexily, represented. I am not into the type of music played, but that was no bother. My senses were in overload just from people watching–particularly those who were doing their thing in the playspaces. I admire people who are comfortable enough to pull out their proclivities in public places.

The night also had some surprises. Lady R got a great boot polish by the resident bootblack (who was raising funds for AIDS Committee Toronto). We also ran into some friends, some old friends, and then some really old friends—people I knew in high school! But that should always be remembered: don’t be surprised by who you might run into at a fetish party!

Sometimes when you hope for and anticipate an event for so long, the actual happening turns out to be disappointing. But not iKink…I am already looking forward to the next Northbound event.
