Gentlemen4Hire is one of the UK’s leading male escort companies.
There are two main types of escort agencies in the UK. Probably around the world, too, but I’m just going to talk about the UK!
There are male escorts, straight or gay, who are hired for the full monty – their clients want hot passionate sex, and escorts from these agencies deliver.
Then there are agencies that provide straight male escorts for a female clientele who aren’t looking for sex. What they want is companionship, perhaps even flirting, but nothing more than that.
That’s not to say that once they get over their nervousness of hiring a male escort, they won’t decide that an escort who is happy to provide a little afternoon or evening delight might not be on their agenda!
Having said that, it’s been my experience that most women who want male escorts for companionship are happy with that role and don’t want anything more, in the same way that I’m happy to provide my clients with companionship and a little bit of innocent flirting and nothing more than that.
So, what’s a day in the life like, for a straight male escort who specializes in providing companionship for women?
Fitness
It doesn’t matter which service a male escort provides – we’ve got to be fit.
That’s not to say an older bloke with a bit of a paunch will be unacceptable. I’ve noticed more and more older women hiring escorts these days. They want someone their own age or even a bit older.
It’s not much of a surprise – usually it’s because their husband has passed away and they are feeling lonely. They want to continue to go out and do the same things they used to do with their husband – go out to dinner and then to the cinema or an art exhibit or a play. They just want to have a man by their side.
For myself, that’s the first thing I do in the morning. I go to the gym for an hour or so, and finish it off with a trip to a public swimming pool where I swim a few laps. Swimming laps is the best way to keep fit.
Shopping
One reason I like being an escort is I usually work only at night, leaving my days free. It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure to walk around the shops or visit the cinema, knowing that most of the people in London are hard at work at their office desks.
I’m very interested in fashion. And by fashion, I mean both men’s and women’s fashion.
My clients expect me to complement them on their appearance – they don’t expect me to know the name of their dress designer. So, I always score a few points if I’m able to identify the designer for their dress, handbag or shoes. And it’s doable, too, if you just pay attention.
But I’ve got to keep up with men’s fashions, too. I have quite the wardrobe, as a matter of fact. A suit for every occasion. My clientele varies – sometimes I’m told that I’ll be attending a formal function and will need to wear a suit and tie, and at other times dress shirt and slacks are fine. You just never know, so it’s best to have a pretty full closet.
Learning
The male escort business is like any other business. You have your loyal clientele who keep you in business, and then there are clients who come to you because they’ve heard good things about you from their friends.
When it comes to my loyal clientele, I have quite a few ladies who engage me once a month or so. They’re usually businesswomen – and they’re too busy to date or they don’t want to date because they don’t want the stress of meeting someone new and getting into a relationship that doesn’t work out.
So, I make it a point to read the papers and keep up with the stock exchange and business in general. When you’re there to provide companionship it’s important to be able to talk in an informed way about practically any subject.
Travel
A male escort has to be willing to travel. Some women want to hire you for a weekend getaway – although those kinds of clients have never come my way. The ladies who want weekend getaways also want to have it away as well!
But I travel throughout London and the suburbs – paid to do so, of course. That’s one thing about being a male escort – your client does have to pay for everything. Your transportation, your food, your tickets. You may be friendly with them, but you can’t really be friends with them. It’s strictly a business relationship.
Lifeline
My lifeline is my phone, and I check it frequently to see if I have a new booking. I have habits and things I do every day, like clockwork. But if a client makes a booking, then I have to be prepared for that. Where I’m supposed to be and at what time, and how I’m supposed to dress. I always make it a point of being early. You’ve heard the saying – you can only make a first impression once, and being late is not the way to make a good first impression.
The first few minutes, especially with a new client, sets the tone for the rest of the evening.
Once I’ve met my client, the phone gets turned off. The last thing I want is to receive a call from my girlfriend when I’m out with a client!
Goodbyes
After we’ve had dinner, I escort my client to her car, or call her a taxi, or even take her to the nearest tube station on occasion! Anonymity is pretty standard in this business – we usually meet at a restaurant, and certainly not at her house or flat.
Once I’ve seen her safely on her way, I’m off to my flat for a relaxing night’s sleep. My girlfriend? Well…we sometimes go away for the weekend…and have it away, too.
