Sex City fans, guests and friends,
I feel like I have been standing in a threshold with you for the 8+ years I’ve been participating in the show. You know that moment? We both know there’s something real here, there’s a connection—and we don’t want to let it go.
But the time comes. We’ve had a great time, we’ve felt alive and in love. But it is time to close the door.
I have decided to leave Sex City, to close the door on one of the most memorable and fulfilling activities of my life.
To the many talented people who I have been lucky enough to team with—thank you.
To the countless guests who have shared stories with me, who have helped us challenge and change the way people talk about sex, sexuality and gender—thank you.
To CIUT, a marvellous achievement in community spirit that has the junk to host a weekly show about sex, sexuality and gender—thank you.
To anyone who has ever listened in to those guests I chose to present—thank you.
Sex City is a broadcasting institution. Nobody (un)covers sex like us. I’m honoured to have been a part of it.
I may be about to walk down your steps, away from a closing door, but know I’ll be listening for you. And to you.
