Trans Sexy: Towards Trans-Inclusive Sexuality!

Guess who’s hot? Well, everyone… but in this workshop we’ll be talking about trans folks. We will be discussing how to get hot with trans folks in respectful ways, so those sexy times stay sexy. Too often our sex ed is filled with cissexist concepts of sexuality and as a result leaves out many diverse bodies and genders. Jade will lead a discussion on how to rid oneself of cissexism in the bedroom and move towards enthusiastic consent. Bring your questions, challenges and, stories.
Jade Pichette has worked as an advocate with trans people over ten years both independently as well as with a number of organizations including PTS, Trans Youth Ottawa and, Toronto Public Health. She is passionate about advocating in particular for trans-positive sexual health and, encouraging enthusiastic consent and joyous sexuality. Jade is currently living in Toronto working as an independent educator, author and consultant, having recently completed her Master of Social Work at Ryerson University.
