I’ll echo this poster’s comments that I hope the person who came up with the following list comes forward so we can say “Thank you!”
Taking a look at these phrases to discuss consent…they all seem so…obvious. So, why does a list like this even have to exist?
Because they aren’t obvious to so many. We aren’t taught to talk like this (in other situations beyond sex). We aren’t taught to ask with consideration and care. We aren’t taught to offer instruction.
We need to teach.
