Submit a Workshop Proposal!
The Center for Family Life Education, a national leader in sexuality education, invites colleagues to submit proposals to present workshops for its annual Sex Ed conference at the Meadowlands Hilton in New Jersey December 3 – 5, 2014.
Who Will Attend?
Sexuality educators, health educators, professors, school teachers, nurses, counselors, case managers, social workers, therapists, & many more…
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of proposals is April 30, 2014. Presenter selections will be made no later than July 31, 2014. Lead presenters will receive acknowledgement of proposal submission and final selection by email.
Discount
Workshop presenters whose proposals are accepted will receive a discount of $50 off the full conference registration fee (Early Bird: $375). Members of the Sex Ed Network will receive an additional $100 discount! So sign up today at SexEdNetwork.com! How to Submit Your Proposal!!
We strongly encourage you to write out your answers in a word processing document and then copy and paste your answers into the form, just in case your browser times out.
You will need to upload the following documents during your submission process (please note that co-presenters are not necessary, but you plan to co-present, you will need to submit all of the following for your co-presenters):
Bios for all presenters (25 words, for the conference program and website)
CVs for all presenters
Nursing Bio form for all presenters (download the form here) (example form)
Headshots for all presenters (not required)
Presentation title
Preferred presentation length (60 vs. 90 minutes)
Workshop description (50 words)
Workshop rationale (100 words)
SMART learning objectives (find details here: http://www.SexEdConference.com/SMART)
Activity Outline Form (download the form here) (example form)
Diversity and inclusion met by your workshop
