Tell Me Something Good: March Sexy Storytelling Slam

Tell Me Something Good: March Sexy Storytelling Slam

Tuesday, March 11, 2014
8:00pm until 11:00pm

Gladstone Hotel
1214 Queen Street West, Toronto

Inspired by Bawdy Storytelling in California, Tell Me Something Good brings sexy storytelling to Toronto! Samantha Fraser and Sophie Delancey are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure.

This month we are trying out the Melody Bar at the Gladstone Hotel, as we search for a more permanent home. Also, this event will be free once again, so make sure you show up early to grab your seat.

Doors at 8 with some fun warm-up actvities.
Storytelling kicks off at 9 pm sharp!

Tell Me Something Good is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes. You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story!

This month’s theme is: Catch Me If You Can. We want to hear your dirty stories that took place just off the beaten path. Maybe you had some fun in an alleyway, or a dive bar bathroom. Maybe you enjoyed more than just the cherry blossoms in the park. Did you do something naughty while your roommates slept in the corner? Were you caught? Did someone wake up and join you?

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose a winner at the end of the night.

Our judges for the March edition are still being sorted out. Stay tuned. (If you are interested in being a judge, feel free to contact us!)

Judge #1 is Khadeeja Abdullah-Wilkinson – Creative Director of Toronto-based ethical porn company The Spit Magazine and co-founder of sex and queer-positive organization I’d Tap That.

Judge #2 is Suzanne Sutherland – Published young adult novelist, writer of When We Were Good and her forthcoming second book, Something Wiki.

Sexy prize information still to come. Donations welcomed!
