HIV Between Two Women?

Given that women have soft tissues and bodily fluids, I find myself very surprised that this is the first confirmed case of HIV transmission between two women. I just assumed it was possible. Experts are saying it is rare, but for this to be the first (as they call it) seemingly “iron-clad” instance is surprising nonetheless.
