Okay, I am going to mix two of my favourite things here—sex toys for men and professional wrestling (it’s true)— because this response by Brian Moylan is absolutely fan-fucking-tastic!
The original post by Erin Gloria Ryan is so negative, full of shaming and damaging to men who might now think their pleasure is wrong. Why shouldn’t men enjoy sex toys? It reminded me a lot of the anger I felt at people slamming this dude, which Bryan thankfully mentions in his amazing retort.
Pretty damn irresponsible writing on Ryan’s part (given her position of influence at Jezebel)…and her and Moylan’s twitter exchanges do not excuse her.
