Very interesting opinion piece from the New York Times about our objectification of people, particular naked people, particularly porn performers.
Coincidentally, I have the book Paul Bloom used in his study, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders’ XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits. And I have to say I had pretty much the reaction that Bloom describes. I definitely want to pull it out and take another look today.
