1. We have two issues coming up with new release dates. Our first, Sacred Sex, will be released on December 27th in time for Corset’s 2-year anniversary and our second, Vulvas v. Vaginas, will be released by March 15th in celebration of Women’s History Month. These release dates are later than we originally planned. However, after touring eight cities, four of which were back to back, we’re slowing down a bit to accommodate our growing events schedule and editorial production.
2. I’m looking for 15 contributors to pen articles or submit photography/illustrations for the upcoming Sacred Sex issue of Corset.
Our ninth issue is a historical and contemporary treat, exposing the ancient history and present power of sacred sexuality, including the Kama Sutra, Tantra, Taoism, and much more. From a historical perspective, the indigenous cultures of Asia, Africa, and the Americas, have long held many mysteries and spiritual teachings that incorporate the intersections of sex, sensuality, and spirituality.
What’s been your experience with sacred sex?
Are you a student of Tantra? Have you studied the Kama Sutra? Explored Taoism?
Are you an expert in these fields? Ready to share your practice and how it could transform the lives of Corset readers?
We’re looking for personal stories, how-to exercises, illustrations, and stunning photography that address the themes above or anything else related to Sacred Sex. We accept original and previously published content. Articles should be 600 to 800 words.
Email your ideas to submissions@corsetmagazine.com or simply reply to this email. The sooner you send your pitches, the better. Final articles will be due November 18th.
We’re excited to hear from you and feel free to forward this to any friends that may be interested as well.
Happy Friday and much gratitude,
Arielle Loren
