Slut-shaming, Costuming and Moral Outrage: Hello Halloween!

A great post here (be sure to watch the video) by Dr. Trina Read. The key, as always, is dialogue with kids—particularly helping them understand societal views and reactions. And more often than not, when it comes to girls’ and women’s sexuality, the reaction is moral panic and outrage. Regardless how much society pushes a sexual image on them. Sigh.
