What I think is missing from the discussion is a consideration of what we, societally, consider a teenager and an adult.
Officially, until you are 20, you are a teenager, and you are often excused if you screw up and act immaturely. But at the same time, people like Lux are out at school, taking on apartments and other responsibilities.
So, which is it? At 18-21 years old, are you a teen or an adult? Herein lies the conundrum of an age minimum. Sure there are people able to take on that decision reasonably. And there are surely others who can’t. But it is so hard to tell because we have no real idea what someone that age should be like.
