Of course these views aren’t representative of all gay and all lesbian folk, as the preamble states here, but these are still views held by enough people. Enough people that these thoughts are common in the queer community. I’ve heard them plenty of time.
I am glad that the interviewers challenge the subjects some, but c’mon, they get off really easy for spouting some pretty hateful and ignorant shit. Arielle takes the women to task some more, but Matthew just goes on to have a happy little love in with his bigoted boyfriend. I love the initiative here, but the execution left a lot to be desired.
