Fascinating account of just how much sex and sex-related commentary sneaks into our current music. Well, it does really sneak in in most cases, it’s flat out there, sunning itself saying “Oh yeah, baby.” And it isn’t just current music as Dr. Lehmiller points out. Operas were all about the sexy and all too. And I’m guessing this goes much further back that operas. In many ways this isn’t that surprising, but it kinda sorta is.
