I once attended a lecture by a history prof that was a giggle-inducing slide show of all the different daily objects Romans put cocks on. It was hilarious and a highlight of that fellow’s teaching year. Not only was I not enrolled in that class, I didn’t even attend that school. But it was too good to pass up.
So it comes as no surprise that the Romans also had the sexiest coins around. What where they used for? Sex trade? Regular currency? Swapping like baseball cards?
All I know is I’d rather have these images on coins that some lady from another country.
