Get Fucked and Go Fuck Yourself

Check out this great post by Charlie Glickman on why he likes “getting fucked” and how he has turned around the term “getting fucked” to have a positive connotation.

At home, we’ve talked about something similar with the phrase “Go Fuck Yourself.” It is meant to be an insult, with a base of masturbation being the only thing you are capable of going and doing.

Why is masturbation an insult? Well, we all know why. Society’s negative view of masturbation is well-known. But I think this phrase can be reclaimed. It can be used, to very hot effect, if you’re doing a power struggle scene. Telling your partner to go fuck themselves is a strong command that should surely be followed!

It could also be said tenderly. Telling your partner to go fuck themselves could be used to relate that you’re not interested, in a sassy way. It could be fun and knowing at the same time.

What this all goes to show is that we can reclaim language that paints sexuality in a negative light.
