Playground Conference Senior Volunteer Positions Available
Playground is looking for a Sponsorship & Fundraising Coordinator (volunteer).
We are looking for someone to join our volunteer team who is passionate about sexuality and relationships, and will bring their experience in sponsorship, fundraising, and/or marketing to help us make year 3 the most successful that it can be!
Playground relies on community support to cover our costs. This support is broken down into ticket sales, exhibitors, and sponsorship (in-kind and monetary). The Sponsorship & Fundraising Coordinator would take the lead with existing and new connections, working with our existing documents.
Responsibilities include:
Finding new contacts to reach out to in the sexuality community and beyond;
Creating and maintaining relationships with these contacts;
Working with our Executive Producer to create custom packages when necessary;
Using our templates as a base, creating personalized contracts for each sponsor;
Ensuring that all deliverable items (such as promotional materials, gift bag donations) are at the venue on time;
Ensuring that all contract requirements are met by both parties;
Being on-site to greet sponsors during the weekend of November 8-10;
Following up with sponsors after the event wraps up.
This position would likely involve 1-2 hours work per week, with more work required closer to the event date. The selected candidate will receive free access to Playground for themselves and a guest, a team member profile on our website, and our eternal gratitude.

We are looking for someone to join our volunteer team who is passionate about sexuality and relationships, and will bring their experience in volunteer coordination and events to our table.
Playground relies on volunteers to help our entire weekend run smoothly. The Volunteer Coordinator would quickly gain an understanding of the conferences requirements and be able to match volunteer candidates to the best positions available.
Responsibilities include:
Putting out a call for volunteers using Playground’s social media feeds;
Managing emails and requests that come in;
Creating a volunteers schedule for the weekend, based on our templates and guidance;
Gathering contact information for all volunteers and ensuring that all Playground staff is provided with this information;
Introducing volunteers, where needed, to speakers, sponsors, and attendees;
Following up with all volunteers after the event to thank them
