You can’t have a fetish event without there being some wild parties to go along with it!
My old cohort DJ Triple-X is bringing Fuck You Fridays to the International Fetish Film Festival with a signature FUF shenanigans on Friday August 30 at the Big Picture Cinema on Gerrard in Toronto.
I got DJ Triple-X to give us a sneak peak into what we might expect.
Fuck U Fridays is known for some outrageous performances. What can we expect?
As always, that’s impossible to predict. I’m there to experience it all for the
first time as well. I have an idea of what’s going to go on, like burlesque,
drag, and live darker electronic performances. Also, with it being a fetish
film festival after-party I’m sure the boundaries will be pushed a bit in that
direction on stage, as in the films, and those in attendance. Expect the
unexpected!
Will people be breaking full fetish freakiness at the party?
Again, impossible to say as this is the first run for this festival. It’s an
ambitious four-day run from the Thursday to the Sunday, with tons of great
films from around the world. People should be there taking in the flicks that
meet their kicks, so to speak. Yeah, people can rock their wear if they like,
but you can just show up and hide in the back of the theatre and watch things
unfold, if that’s your thing. I’d encourage everyone to dabble a bit in what
turns them on. We’re also going to have a couple play areas set up around the
theatre, which will be available when the after-party starts.
