This is an interesting piece by Jocelyn Wentland. Personally, I can’t think of any men I’ve ever known you use this sort of classification system of women. Sure, it exists in film and television, but I wonder how much it exists in real life. I appreciate that she debunks this myth.
For me, the data from OK Cupid rings out as the most compelling. I am always fascinated by the greatly differing versions of “attractive,” out there. Eye of the beholder, indeed! I frequently talk to friends about what they find attractive in a person, or if specific people are attractive to them. The opinions are usually quite wide and varied. This applies to men and women looking at men and women. And can often lead to quite spirited discussion!
