What we’re looking for:
We are acquiring romance across all subgenres, including but not limited to: contemporary, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, western, historical, inspirational, paranormal, sci-fi/fantasy, futuristic, urban fantasy, steampunk, time-travel, and erotica. We are looking for stories that are sweet, as well as those that are hot, hot, hot. We are accepting novella length works (8,000-35,000 words), as well as longer works from 35,000-100,000 words. We do not publish YA, mystery, general fiction, non-fiction, or poetry.
From Cindi Myers Market News’s Blog Forever Yours is looking for the following types of stories:
Historical romance that transports the readers to a different time and place. All levels of sensuality. Open to Regency, Victorian, Georgian and Scottish historicals.
Contemporary romance of all types, from sweet to sexy. Small towns are very popular, but they’re open to other settings. Family stories do well. Cowboys are always popular. Contemporary westerns set on ranches are popular.
Romantic Suspense — action, suspense, fear. Like the author to create a world and a family feeling with a group of firefighters, FBI agents, special forces operatives, etc.
Paranormal Romance — They are not tired of vampires yet, but also like other kinds of creatures and settings, including historical paranormal.
Erotic Romance — Hot, alpha heroes — BDSM, male-male, menage. “break boundaries. Anything goes.”
New Adult — “It’s all about the angst.”
Representation: Forever Yours accepts both agented and unagented submissions
What you need to submit to Forever Yours:
– A query letter introducing yourself, the genre you are writing in, and the word count of your work.
– A detailed 3-5 page synopsis.
– Your completed manuscript saved as an RTF file. Forever Yours will only consider manuscripts that are complete at the time of submission.
Formatting: Do not include headers, footers, page numbers, or graphics on your manuscript file. All manuscripts must be submitted in Times New Roman font. Please include the following information on the first page of all submission package files: title of the manuscript, author name, email address, phone number, and word count of completed manuscript.

Once your submission has been received, you will be sent an auto-response confirming receipt of submission. Please allow 6- 8 weeks for our editorial team to respond to your submission. If your submission is not right for our list, you will be contacted and the file will be permanently deleted.
If we are interested in discussing your submission for the Forever Yours list, you will be contacted and will be asked to enter into a written publishing agreement governing publication.
