Check out this beginner’s guide to body language and the potential of it in flirting. It is a dialect and language I do not at all understand. At all. I’ve been told I’ve missed some significant flirting at me, in my day, and in retrospect, I realize I’ve likely missed out on some good fun.
At the same time, I am the world’s worst flirt. More often than not I’ve been told I am standoffish and difficult to approach. Actually I’m just cripplingly shy in social situations—until I am approach. Nasty catch-22 here!
Maybe that’s why I’ve retreated more and more into online communication. I think I do much better here.
