Dr. Justin Lehmiller reports on the growing and predominantly hetero love of anal sex. Once believed to be an exclusively queer sex act, anal began taking the world by storm in the late 80s or early 90s and is now practically commonplace for straight folks.
What made anal so popular? I‘ll put it out there that it was porn. Porm, and as follows, its fans, embraced backdoor lovin‘. Big time. It is rare to find any porn that doesn‘t have some type of anal play.
But, as Lehmiller writes, anal is still derogatorily attributed to gay men. This is just so bizarre! Just because straight folks have only owned up to ass fun in the recent past, doesn‘t mean they haven‘t been down with it for ages.
It‘s time we all just acknowledge the awesoness of ass!
