Call For Submissions
A short intro to Unbound: Site: www.unboundbox.com Unbound is a women’s online sexual lifestyle site that offers a quarterly box of erotic goods. We publish everything from personal essays to helpful tips and reviews to erotica. We’re sex positive and honor all sexual orientations. We have had an incredible response to the erotica featured on the site and would like to provide our readers with more quality pieces in the future. We also include erotica in the Unbound Box (we would pay add’l for this usage)
Guidelines: We’re looking for short stories and excerpts of erotica. Submission should be around 400-600 words. They can be part of a larger story (we’ll happily connect the excerpt to the actual story if published elsewhere). Subject wise, we love our erotica from a woman’s point of view—partners are not always necessary—we dig a great self pleasure piece! Toys and products featured within the story is preferred but certainly not required. Stories should highlight female orgasm and pleasure are great. Male or female partners are fine—open and accepting of all orientations. (Our readers/box subscribers are all over the board so we like to feature erotica with a bit of everything) Themes of travel, bdsm, female ejaculation are great (but not absolute requirements). We love a good story that can make us laugh and turned on…
Submission details: We are going to have rolling submissions for erotica moving forward. Please send plain text, .rtf, or .doc. All submissions can be sent to Sarahjayne@unboundbox.com. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have as well. We are more than happy to plug personal blogs/tumblr/longer pieces of work that are for sale elsewhere. etc as we want to promote visibility and access to this genre.
Contact information: SarahJayne@unboundbox.com (I am the Editorial Director and very happy to answer any questions!)
Payment and rights sought: $30 for publishing the piece online or perhaps we can trade for an Unbound Box (if US based). We’d love a 4 week exclusivity on the piece. All of this can be negotiated.
