Something I write this morning has been stuck in my head all day.
In my review of Cheeky Spanking Stories. I wondered whether spanking is almost always about power, domination and submission.
And I‘ve really been stuck on the idea all day.
Spanking isn‘t a personal fetish of mine, but I do enjoy the act. Both giving and receiving. The thing is though, I just like spanking. Hand or paddle or crop meets ass.
Where I‘ve become confused is whether the is actually a subtext of power inherent to spanking. Most of the stories in that collection involve domination. And most every other erotic resource I‘ve seen follows suit. Does our social convention of spanking as corporal punishment when we‘re children continue on into adulthood?
And now that spanking children is becoming less accepted, will those interested in spanking become fewer? Will a couple spank-free generations render the spanking fetish obsolete? There are certainly many other ways to humiliate someone.
I would love to hear thoughts from folks who are really into spanking.
