I guess I hear what she’s saying, even though I can’t say I ever been on a real date.
I am serious.
I have somehow gotten to be almost 40, into my 4th significant relationship and I’ve been on what most people would consider a date.
In one instance, we knew each for sometime and then just got together. In two others, we knew each other a little bit and then boom, sex, relationship. In the other, we knew each other in the past, reconnected over Facebook, started hanging, tried to pretend nothing was happening–until it did.
Those periods Kirsch talks about, before getting back in the dating world? I can definitely relate to that. I always intended to date around…in just never happened. And fingers crossed it ain’t gonna.
