Good Depiction of Mainstreaming BDSM

It is refreshing to see a significant and even-handed article about BDSM and the legalities of pro domme work. Right down to how reporter Wendy Gillis came across Miss Barbie Bitch. She was walking her dog, you know, just how anyone else would.
Overall the article is a fair and non-sensationalized depiction of Miss Barbie. She’s a woman who lives in a condo. She has two grown children. She is a pro domme.
While it could use further elavoration, the overview of the legalites of BDSM work and play is appreciated. If you’re going to get into these activities, you should know how things might go wrong. And if you’re going to talk sex legalities, I am glad Gillis chose Brenda Cossman. I always enjoy her work.
It was disappointing to see that the first comment was that BDSM is not becoming mainstream. I really don’t see how that can be denied. And fortunately, giggle- and innuendo-free articles like this are happening.
