How does the Ohhh Canada team possibly prepare for Valentine’s Day?!
Haha! This is indeed a crazy season for us, and we love every moment of it. We actually prepare for both the holidays and Valentines starting in the middle of the summer

–usually around July or August. In some cases it takes us a long time to bring product in to our warehouse, so we have to plan pretty far in advance. But once Valentine’s hits, we are generally well prepared…but there are always surprises! For example, we are having a particularly strong season, and we’re already starting to get out of stock of some items. The best problem to have as a business owner, though, so no complaints! It just means that we spend a lot of time on the phones with our suppliers both within Canada and around the world to figure out how quickly we can get more inventory in. We want to make sure we’re well stocked so that our customers have the best possible selection to choose from.

What do you expect to be popular items and big sellers this year?
We’re really seeing a trend towards toys and accessories that help people explore differently, live luxuriously and celebrate their sexuality. I can see multi-use sex furniture being really hot—especially the Inflatable Love Lounger which is a great starter kit for those who want to try all kinds of different ways of playing without making a big investment. Anal toys also continue to be popular; I like the Booty Call Rocket Vibrating Butt Plug especially for women as it’s on the small side, it’s not intimidating and it comes in a fun girly pink colour.
In the past few years, products for men have really improved. It used to be “pocket pussies” or nothing for guys, but thankfully we’re seeing new products on the market that are both chic and cheeky. What was the best Valentine you ever received when you were in school?

I’m thinking you’re hoping for a glimpse into this sexpreneur’s budding sexuality… but in fact, my answer is pretty squeaky clean, and a little bit sweet. When I was a little kid, my mom celebrated every little holiday with me…Valentine’s Day included. She would always buy me cinnamon hearts (my favourite, although I try not to overdose on sugar anymore), and a cute card. So my most vivid memories of Valentine’s cards as a kid are in fact from the surprises from my mom. And now my mom runs my warehouse, actually.

Behind the scenes, what one item has got the Ohhh Canada team talking?
