Tie Me to the (Blog) Post: Sexuality Writing Online
featuring Erika Szabo, Kaitlyn Kochany, J. Sinclaire & Brad Pajuluoma. Moderated by Jon Pressick.

There’s a lot more to sex blogging than simply writing about sex toys, it’s more of a way to educate others and broaden the overall scope of sexuality. Forums like FetLife have shown us how many distinct interests people can have and all in a safe, sex-positive environment. Now while not all sources are going to be quite as kinky as FetLife, sex blogging is flexible and far-reaching, exploring a vast range of topics. Sex bloggers can be an empowering source for those who need some practical advice and opinions that might seem too scary or taboo to talk about, and that’s part of what makes being a sex blogger so rewarding.

What’s really cool about sex blogging is that it not only educates others it educates the writers themselves and helps them learn more about their own sexuality. Becoming in-tune with sexuality can affect us in some amazing ways and can build character and confidence. In fact, it’s very much a part of our identities.

Tie Me to the (Blog (Post) is a panel discussion featuring a few of Toronto’s sex bloggers, and their insights. While this panel will offer an open discussion with the audience, it will also cover a variety of topics including:
Blogger Introductions
Sexuality in today’s society
Sex blogging in today’s society
In’s and Out’s of being a sex blogger (i.e. how to get started, accuracy etc.)

and

50 Shades of Mainstream
with Dr. Stephen DeWit, Jon Pressick, Elle. Moderated by Jessica O’Reilly.

Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey have captured the hearts of people everywhere and sales of kink related toys have risen exponentially. Mainstream society is embracing BDSM more so now than ever before. Is there enough information out there to help people navigate these complex relationships safely? Are people going from 0-60 faster than they should be on the kink highway due to misinformation? This panel will look at kink in mainstream society and discuss the key things that everyone needs to realize before getting involved, 50 Shades style.
