Toronto Erotica Writer and Readers Meetup—April 25

As per some suggestions from the awesome feedback I have received, I’m going to try and tighten things up and keep the event moving along each time. We’re going to stick to specific and strict timelines throughout, specifically in transitioning between different events.
So, here’s is what is in story for this coming meetup!
Raffle! Everyone who comes to the meetup will be entered into a raffle for a gift certificate from Come As You Are. The draw will take place just before the start of the open mic. Make sure you get a ticket!
7:30pm: Guided discussion on Safer Sex in Erotica. I’m going to guide us in an exploration of whether writers do/should/shouldn’t incorporate safer sex in erotic fiction. Moving forward, this timeslot will be for discussion or guest speakers.
8:00pm: Another fun icebreaker! The icebreaker will conclude at 8:45 to ensure there is time to set up for the open mic and raffle draw.
9:00pm: ORAL: Adventures in Erotica Open Mic reading: I am going to look into another format to record and present this to make it longer (if there are enough readers). However, I am now instituting a strict 7 minute limit to any story. You’ll get time warnings, but please know that I will cut you off at the 7 minute mark. There will be a sign up list posted at the bar. Depending on demand, the open mic will go as late at 10pm.
***If you want to present a multimedia piece, Francis has graciously offered to supply a projector. It would be fantastic if you could let me know by Tuesday April 24th if you would like to make use of it.
