Time To Soften Laws on Public Sex

I grew up in a time that included numerous high-profile busts of men cruising. Many men were arrested and outed in Niagara for engaging in sex in two malls, news that, allegedly, made it all the way to The Tonight Show. This was so unnecessarily damaging. I still do think that some discretion of time and place needs to be considered, but I think it is key to a positive movement forward for sexuality to come to understand that some people need to have sex in public spaces and some people just want to.

Do we even have to wonder why we have such fucked up views about sex and sexuality? Take a read of some of these very, very wrong Victorian-era beliefs about sex. I mean, I understand that science and understanding takes time and research and that early could be proven wrong in later times. But some of this is just ridiculous and should have never been disseminated in books, journals and in medicine.
