Very interesting discussion (on a topic I have personally wondered about) over at Dr. Justin Lehmiller‘s Sex Question Friday. When asked if people are born with fetishes, Dr. Lehmiller posits that instead of being born with fetishes, they are likely the result of learned behaviour from various potential stimuli. So, people can develop fetishes any time in their lives.
Personally I find the potential for learned sexual behaviour and response quite intriguing, given the power of media and influence. Could mass fetish development happen?
