Tell Me Something Good #9: October Sexy Storytelling – Giving Thanks

Oct 8 at 7:30pm

Gladstone Melody Bar
1214 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario M6J

October’s Tell Me Something Good theme is all about giving thanks, celebrating the harvest and fall.

This theme has plenty of ways to be interpreted, whether you’re grateful to someone for a sex move they taught you, how they made you feel about yourself, or you just want to share that time you made out in a corn field.

How it works for Interested Storytellers:
You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story.

Samantha Fraser (@nympsam) and Sophie Delancey (@sophiedelancey) are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good (@TellMeToronto)is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes, or if you’d rather not share, feel free to just sit back and be entertained.

IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE:
Doors are now at 7:30 with some fun warm-up activities, including Truth or Dare. Storytelling kicks off at 8 pm sharp! Also, this event will be free once again, so make sure you show up early to grab your seat.

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose our winners at the end of the night. Our top storytellers get prizes every time!

*** Important note: We strive on making this a safe(r) event. We will not tolerate homophobia, racism, transphobia, ablism, agism, misogyny, whorephobia, slut shaming, fat-phobia, or any other jerky behaviour or language. Don’t yuck someone else’s yum! Please make sure that your stories are respectful so that everyone can feel included and have a good time! And in the words of Samantha’s first crush, Wil Wheaton, don’t be a dick! ***
