Tell Me Something Good #10: November Sexy Storytelling – Playground Conference Special Edition

Friday November 7
8PM

Holiday Inn Downtown
30 Carlton Street, Toronto

November’s Tell Me Something Good promises to be an *extra* special night of stories. We’re pairing up with Playground Conference, a sex-positive inclusive event for all communities, switching venues, changing days, and making November a TMSG you won’t soon forget!

Happening on the 1st floor of the Holiday Inn Downtown Centre, located at 30 Carlton Street on Friday, November 7th, Playground will be hosting an opening keynote presentation that’s FREE for the public to attend at 7 pm. After the keynote, there’s time to mingle, grab a drink, and then get ready for some sexy storytelling, kicking off at 9 pm sharp!

The Playground special theme will soon be announced along with the evening’s judges.

You’ll also be able to register on site for Playground to check out a super weekend of sex(uality) education, panels, and workshops.

For more information on Playground, check out www.playgroundconf.com / @playgroundconf on Twitter / www.facebook.com/playgroundconf orwww.facebook.com/events/493397594109376.

How it works for Interested Storytellers:
You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story.

Samantha Fraser (@nympsam) and Sophie Delancey (@sophiedelancey) are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good (@TellMeToronto)is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes, or if you’d rather not share, feel free to just sit back and be entertained.

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose our winners at the end of the night. Our top storytellers get prizes every time!

*** Important note: We strive on making this a safe(r) event. We will not tolerate homophobia, racism, transphobia, ablism, agism, misogyny, whorephobia, slut shaming, fat-phobia, or any other jerky behaviour or language. Don’t yuck someone else’s yum! Please make sure that your stories are respectful so that everyone can feel included and have a good time! And in the words of Samantha’s first crush, Wil Wheaton, don’t be a dick! ***
