Tell Me Something Good: AUGUST Sexy Storytelling Slam – Kink Edition

Tell Me Something Good: AUGUST Sexy Storytelling Slam – Kink Edition

Wednesday, August 6
8:00pm – 11:55pm

Gladstone Hotel
1214 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario M6J 1J6

This month’s Tell Me Something Good theme is all things kink. Whether it’s leather or feet, balloons or furry costumes, submission or dominance, shibari or bondage gone wrong, we want to hear your REAL sexy, or not-so-sexy, tales of fetish fun and fantasy. And don’t worry, vanilla is still one of our favourite flavours. EVERYone is welcome at TMSG!

While we always stress at TMSG to “not yuck someone else’s yum” we realize that a kink edition could travel into some unchartered or uncomfortable territory for some audience members. Please remember to keep things respectful as both storytellers AND the audience. This month’s event probably should come with its own trigger warning, just in case!

How it works for Interested Storytellers:
You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story!

Inspired by Bawdy Storytelling in California, Tell Me Something Good (@TellMeToronto) brings sexy storytelling to Toronto. Samantha Fraser (@nympsam) and Sophie Delancey (@sophiedelancey) are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes, or if you’d rather not share, feel free to just sit back and be entertained.

Doors at 8 with some fun warm-up activities, including Truth or Dare. Storytelling kicks off at 9 pm sharp! Also, this event will be free once again, so make sure you show up early to grab your seat.

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose our winners at the end of the night.

*** Important note: We strive on making this a safe(r) event. We will not tolerate homophobia, racism, transphobia, ablism, agism, misogyny, whorephobia, slut shaming, fat-phobia, or any other jerky behaviour or language. Please make sure that your stories are respectful so that everyone can feel included and have a good time! And in the words of Samantha’s first crush, Wil Wheaton, don’t be a dick! ***
